Actor Jung Han-seol has been cast as the young Jin-man in the drama 'Gold Land'.

According to agency Gold Medalist on the 29th, Jung Han-seol will appear as the young Jin-man in Disney+'s original series 'Gold Land' (script by Hwang Jo-yoon, directed by Kim Sung-hoon).

'Gold Land' is a golden-hued survival thriller about Hee-ju (played by Park Bo-young), who obtains 150 billion won worth of gold bars from a smuggling organization and fights to monopolize the gold amidst a chaotic world of greed and betrayal. Jung Han-seol will portray the young police officer Jin-man (played by Kim Hee-won) in the series, densely depicting the decisive past moments that support the current narrative. By carefully constructing Jin-man's inner world and backstory, the drama is expected to heighten viewer immersion.

Previously, Jung Han-seol established her presence as Detective Bae, who unravels the mystery of a strange steel ball murder case in 'One Hit Scandal' (2023). Since then, she has appeared in 'Romantic Doctor Kim 3' (2023) and 'Kikikikik' (2025), gradually expanding her range of activities with solid acting skills as a rising star.

Gold Medalist stated, "In this work, she will show delicate acting chemistry based on deeper emotional acting and character interpretation skills."

Meanwhile, 'Gold Land' will begin releasing episodes 1 and 2 on the 29th, followed by two episodes weekly, for a total of 10 episodes.
