Shin Ryu-jin (Ryu-jin from the group ITZY) showcased her acting potential with a cameo role in "New Employee Kang (Chairman)".

Recently, Shin Ryu-jin made a cameo appearance in the final episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama "New Employee Kang (Chairman)" (written by Hyun Jimin, directed by Ko Hye-jin), which concluded to great success with a nationwide rating of 13.6% according to Nielsen Korea.

Transforming into a character inspired by the identity of 'ITZY member Ryu-jin', she naturally portrayed a scene where her body collides with the protagonist, Hwang Jun-hyun (played by Lee Joon-young), resulting in their souls swapping places. With a playful and natural expression, she completed the comedic scene, notably covering her mouth and smiling awkwardly as if unable to believe her soul-swapped appearance, delivering lines such as "Wait a minute. It's not me" and "That person over there is the real one," demonstrating her ability to deliver dialogue naturally.

After the broadcast, Shin Ryu-jin posted behind-the-scenes images from the filming on her personal SNS channel, stating, "I had the special opportunity to appear in the final episode of 'New Employee Kang (Chairman)'! I am deeply grateful and honored to all the senior colleagues and staff who took good care of me."

Meanwhile, Shin Ryu-jin, currently on a world tour as an ITZY member, is set to appear in the upcoming films "Shaving," "Night on Earth," and "High School Detective."
