Director Woo Min-ho of 'Made in Korea 2' shared his thoughts on a potential Season 3.

On the morning of the 2nd, a production press conference for Disney+ original series 'Made in Korea Season 2' was held at Conrad Hotel in Yeouido-gu, Seoul. Director Woo Min-ho and actors Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, Woo Do-hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Won Ji-an, Jung Sung-il, Noh Jae-won, and Cha Hee attended the event.

Season 1, released on December 24 last year, depicted the confrontation between Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), a Central Intelligence Service agent living a double life as a smuggler, and Prosecutor Jang Geon-young (played by Jung Woo-sung), who is tracking him. Season 2 returns approximately nine months later, portraying the precarious journey of Baek Ki-tae, who has raced toward greater desires nine years after the events of the previous installment.

Hyun Bin portrays Baek Ki-tae, who races toward the pinnacle of power; Jung Woo-sung plays Jang Geon-young, who returns for revenge; and Woo Do-hwan takes on the role of Baek Ki-hyun, facing a choice between family and his beliefs. Seo Eun-soo plays Oh Ye-jin, South Korea's first female prosecutor; Won Ji-an portrays Ikeda Yuzi, who aims to take over Kumi-cho's position; Jung Sung-il plays Cheon Seok-joong, who wields absolute power; Noh Jae-won plays BusanJi Bu (Director) Pyo Hak-soo of the Central Intelligence Service; and Cha Hee acts as Baek So-young, the mastermind behind illegal business operations.

On this day, when asked why the story is set nine years after Season 1, Director Woo replied, "History nine years later was far more dramatic than eight years later in South Korea's history. It was an era marked by the assassination of a president and immense political intrigue and power struggles to seize the vacant throne."

He also touched upon the possibility of a Season 3. Director Woo stated, "For what happens after that, I think you can just watch the movie 'Spring in Seoul.' (Season 3) has never been considered. After watching Season 2, wouldn't it be great to watch 'Spring in Seoul'?" His remarks drew laughter from the audience.

Meanwhile, 'Made in Korea Season 2' will be released every Wednesday starting on the 9th, with two episodes available each time via Disney+.
