The production team of the drama 'Yeon Ae (Dr.)' paid tribute to the late Director An Pan-seok.

On the afternoon of the 2nd, a press conference for ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Yeon Ae (Dr.)' was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Choo Young-woo, Kim So-hyun, Kim Min-seok, Lee Chang-hoon, Im Jin-hyo, and Executive Producer Kim Hyun-jung attended the event.

Before the start of the event, a moment was held to mourn Director An Pan-seok, who passed away last month. The director died on August 12 while battling a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 64 years old at the time of his death. The late director had collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage in July and was receiving hospital treatment, but ultimately did not recover and passed away.

Park Kyung-rim, who served as the MC, recalled the late Director An Pan-seok's life, saying, "I sincerely pray for the repose of his soul," and added, "He was a respected elder of our era, and the director's heart and gaze were always reflected in his works."

She continued, "The press conference for his previous work comes to mind. His love for the work was palpable. I miss him greatly. The passion and love of the director are also imbued in 'Yeon Ae (Dr.).'"

['Yeon Ae (Dr.)'] tells the story of Park Min-jae (played by Choo Young-woo), a doctoral student who was a swimmer in high school but lost one leg due to illness, and Im Yu-jin (played by Kim So-hyun), a master's student who wandered after losing her direction in life before embarking on a new path. The drama is scheduled to air its first episode on the 5th.
