Im Si-wan shared his thoughts on portraying a chaebol third-generation character in "My Guilty Human."

The production press conference for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama "My Guilty Human" (screenplay by Moon Soo-jung, directed by Park Dan-hee) was held online on the 14th. Director Park Dan-hee, along with actors Im Si-wan, Seol In-ah, Kim Jung-hyun, and Yeon Woo, attended the event.

"My Guilty Human" is a drama depicting an intimate thriller romance between an arrogant chaebol third-generation heir who has been named a murder suspect and a detective from a special forces unit who infiltrates his life as his personal assistant.

In the series, Yoon I-jun (played by Im Si-wan), the chaebol third-generation heir and murder suspect, and Detective Kang Jae-hee (played by Seol In-ah), who disguised herself as a male personal assistant to get close to him, form a dangerous yet unique relationship. Kim Si-hyun (played by Kim Jung-hyun), a lawyer on the legal team of Taekang Group, and Lee Hye-jung (played by Yeon Woo), the chairman's secretary, are also set to cultivate their own love in their own ways.

Introducing the character of Yoon I-jun that he plays, Im Si-wan said, "He is the successor to Taekang Group. He has an arrogant, sharp-tongued, and sensitive personality, and is a man with many secrets. I have taken on a central role, as many stories unfold because of Yoon I-jun."

Im Si-wan, who took on the role of a chaebol third-generation heir, stated, "I filmed in the most comfortable environment of any work I have done so far."

Regarding the process of building the character, he explained, "I tried to focus on the past of a figure who can only be seen as a prickly Goyang-i. When I looked into that past, it turned out to be someone whose own priorities were set aside because things they had to do were already predetermined."

He added, "So I wondered if a slight deviation might have grown even larger," and continued, "I thought about whether the character could reflect an image different from the typical chaebol persona, and tried to make him appear multifaceted."

"My Guilty Human" is set to air its first episode at 8:50 p.m. on the 19th.
