'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan' Hong Ji-yoon revealed her past connection with YG's chief producer Yang Hyun-suk.

In the MBN and Channel S variety show 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3' broadcast on the 8th, the scene showed singer Hong Ji-yoon, EXID's Solji, and Jeon Hyun-moo, who went on a food trip to Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, along with Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin).

On this day, the four visited a special restaurant known for grilled large intestine. During the meal, Jeon Hyun-moo asked Hong Ji-yoon and Solji, "Aren't both of you former idol trainees?" Hong Ji-yoon replied, "I trained at a small and medium-sized agency and then appeared on the audition program 'Mix Nine'."

She continued, "Yang Hyeon-seok (CEO) came and watched the audition, and among all those participants, I was the only one who sang trot. He was very surprised."

Jeon Hyun-moo exclaimed, "You must have stood out since you always see the same things. That's amazing."

Hong Ji-yoon said, "I actually wanted to do trot back then, but he said no," expressing her affection for trot.

Solji then explained the reason she got into trot: "I was first approached for 'National Singer King' and asked my mother. Since it was a genre I had never tried, I was afraid I couldn't do it, but my family strongly recommended it. They told me to try it. So I made a change at that time and challenged myself to broaden my musical spectrum." Jeon Hyun-moo responded, "That is truly a divine move. Your mother had foresight."
