Actor Eom Ki-jun shared his thoughts on marriage.

On the third, actor Eom Ki-jun and Ryu Soo-young appeared as guests on MBN's variety program "Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 4," visiting Daejeon.

That day, Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Eom Ki-jun appeared on a program I host. We worked together on a program, and not long after, he called asking if I could officiate his wedding."

Eom Ki-jun married in December 2024. Regarding his first meeting with his wife, he said, "We met at an event like this. I was immediately drawn to her. The first thought that came to me then was, 'If I'm with this person, I can spend my old age smiling more.'"

He continued, "Things are getting better now. Don't they say couples fight a lot during the first year of marriage? My wife said, 'If we live like this, we won't last long,' and 'Let's quit drinking and smoking and live healthily.' For me, who had lived alone for nearly 20 years, it felt like interference."

He added, "After a year passed, I'm finally trying to show a bit more respect. Now I recommend marriage. If it were last year, I wouldn't have recommended it," drawing laughter from the audience.

He also spoke about plans for children. Eom Ki-jun said, "For now, I have one daughter."
