Choo Shin-soo expressed amazement at the applicants for 'Baseball Queen 2'.

In the Channel A variety program 'Baseball Queen 2', which aired on the 9th, the scene of a tryout was revealed, where Korea's 50th women's baseball team, 'Black Queens', is set to recruit three players for Season 2.

Prior to the tryout that day, a meeting between the manager and coaching staff took place, and the production team stated, "The total number of applicants is an astounding 308," leaving the manager and coaches surprised.

In fact, applicants came from diverse sports backgrounds including tennis, handball, water polo, breaking, and javelin throw, with a combined total of 117 medals won by all applicants, ranging from eight Olympic medals to Asian Games medals. In response, Choo Shin-soo remarked, "This is a jackpot."

With many applicants participating in sports where they had previously seen success in Season 1, the manager and coaching staff exclaimed, "There were many track and field athletes too; it's the Kim Min-ji effect."

Yoon Seok-min expressed surprise, saying, "There are many sports I've never heard of," while Choo Shin-soo noted, "Paragliding doesn't seem to fit (with baseball)," but Yoon Seok-min explained, "They could still excel in outfield play."

The production team revealed that 30 applicants were selected through document review and interviews. The manager and coaching staff expressed satisfaction with the applicants' credentials, saying, "We feel reassured."
