Actress Moon Geun-young shows a new side through 'Our Ballad' Season 2.

According to the production team of SBS audition program 'Our Ballad 2' (planning by Jeon Hyun-moo, direction by An Jung-hyun, writing by Mo Eun-seol) on the 11th, the broadcast has confirmed eight representatives of Top Back Vocalists: Jeon Hyun-moo, Jung Jae-hyung, Cha Tae-hyun, Park Kyung-rim, Moon Geun-young, Ju Woo-jae, Roy Kim, and Jung Seung-hwan, and held the first recording last weekend.

The first recording, which took place over two days on the 8th and 9th, included three new faces: actress Moon Geun-young, model and broadcaster Ju Woo-jae, and singer-songwriter Roy Kim; five participants from Season 1 who worked together again—Jeon Hyun-moo, Jung Jae-hyung, Cha Tae-hyun, Park Kyung-rim, and Jung Seung-hwan; and a total of 150 Top Back Vocalists with diverse stories. With an average age of 17.9 years, younger than last season, the participants performed numerous classic songs that have illuminated the history of popular music. It is reported that during one young participant's performance, all the Top Back Vocalists stood up and applauded.

Especially Moon Geun-young, who made her debut as the first female actress to serve as a Top Back Vocalist representative and appeared in a variety show for the first time in seven years, received the warmest cheers and applause immediately upon entering the recording venue. Despite participating in an audition program for the first time, Moon Geun-young impressed the with her delicate language and expressions, reading the participants' performances with great insight, while also showing unexpected versatility by disarming Jeon Hyun-moo, Jung Jae-hyung, and Cha Tae-hyun, further raising expectations. Most notably, since Moon Geun-young recently married actor Jung Pyeong, who is seven years her senior, in a secret wedding, public interest has focused on her variety show activities following the marriage.

Ju Woo-jae took charge of both the Season 1 veteran Top Back Vocalist representatives and all 150 participants from the opening, generating tension and entertainment unseen in Season 1. As someone who calls himself a 'Ballad Kid,' he displayed encyclopedic knowledge of popular music history like a music critic, making members of the 'Music Team' including Jung Jae-hyung and Jung Seung-hwan nervous, leaving viewers curious about Ju Woo-jae's unique side to be revealed on broadcast.

Top singer-songwriter Roy Kim, whose released songs consistently top music charts, quickly immersed himself in 'Our Ballad 2,' seamlessly shifting between serious and mischievous personas. He also offered generous advice as a former audition winner to participants who named him their role model, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. Forming a witty comedy duo with Jung Seung-hwan, a runner-up from 'K-Pop Star 4,' he also showcased his warm demeanor as a senior musician, warming up the set.

'Our Ballad 2' will premiere in October.
