Actor Jang Dong-gun issued a statement regarding recent allegations of facial procedures.

On the 18th, a video titled "The First Ever! Jang Dong-gun♡Go So-young's First Couple Talk Show in 16 Years of Marriage" was released on the YouTube channel 'Go So-young'. The released video featured Go So-young and her husband, Jang Dong-gun.

That day, Go So-young said, "I worked very hard today before coming out. I even went to a beauty salon and had my makeup done." In response, Jang Dong-gun joked, "Since it's listed as having undergone rhinoplasty, I should look good."

Jang Dong-gun recently faced controversy over his changed appearance in a video posted on the official SNS of fashion magazine Dazed Korea. Go So-young explained, "Actually, that was taken with an app. I naturally thought everyone would assume it was edited with a beauty app."

Jang Dong-gun also stated, "At first, I didn't think much of it, but then my father called the next day. We had met three days prior, and he asked, 'What have you done to your face in just one day?' That's when I realized people were believing it." He added, "I received more calls than during a movie release."
