Actor Hyun Bin is taking on variety entertainment for the first time since his debut 23 years ago.

According to StarNews' investigation on the 25th, Hyun Bin recently participated in the recording of SBS's variety program "Whenever You Have a Moment," (directed by Choi Bo-pil, written by Chae Jin-ah) alongside actor Woo Do-hwan as a "Gap Friend" (guest). Their footage is scheduled to air on September 1.

"Whenever You Have a Moment," is a variety program that delivers luck during brief gaps encountered in daily life through its "Gap Strategy" segment. Hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, along with "Gap Friend" guests, meet with clients who are the "Gap Owners," share stories, and play games to bring laughter and fun to viewers.

In its fifth season, which returned on the 11th, "Whenever You Have a Moment," featured guests such as Hwang Jung-min, Jeong Ho-yeon, Jung Hae-in, and Heo Sung-tae in succession. Hyun Bin visited the program with Woo Do-hwan ahead of the September release of Disney+ series "Made in Korea Season 2" for a unique variety outing.

Notably, this marks Hyun Bin's first appearance on a variety entertainment show since his debut in 2003, after 23 years. Interest is focused on what kind of performance he will deliver alongside Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, having primarily focused on acting projects until now.

Meanwhile, the episode airing on the 25th will feature actors Cha Tae-hyun and Jin Ki-joo as guests on "Whenever You Have a Moment,"
