'SBS Gayo Daejeon' is set to return as the largest-ever Christmas music festival in history, marking its 30th anniversary.

SBS announced, "The '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon,' which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, will be held over two days on December 24 and 25 at Ilsan KINTEX."

'SBS Gayo Daejeon,' which took its first step in 1996 and is now reaching a meaningful 30th anniversary, has established itself as the epitome of year-end celebrations. In particular, this year marks the first time in history that the event will be held over two days, spanning Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, promising an even richer and more spectacular visual feast for the year-end season.

Having set a special milestone with its 30th anniversary, this 'Gayo Daejeon' is already raising expectations to a peak among global K-pop fans simply through the announcement of its holding.

Above all, this performance will feature specially planned stages that encompass the 30th-year history of K-pop at a glance. Veteran artists who laid the foundation for K-pop and opened the door to global expansion, along with top-tier artists currently leading the global music market, will gather to present era-defying collaboration stages that can only be seen at 'Gayo Daejeon.' The meeting of senior and junior artists bridging generations, along with unique special stages never seen before, is expected to fill the year-end night with passionate energy and moving moments.

The production team for 'Gayo Daejeon' stated, "To repay the love shown to 'SBS Gayo Daejeon' over the past 30 years, we are preparing a Christmas gift that is more special and diverse than ever," adding, "It will be a festival where everyone can enjoy together, transcending eras."

Meanwhile, the artist lineup for the '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon' is scheduled to be revealed sequentially in the future.
