Actor Lee Jong-won said he wants to work with Park Jung-min while trying to lead his first commercial film with "Salmokji."

On the 2nd, at a cafe in Samcheong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, I met with actress Kim Hye-yoon of the movie "Salmokji" (director Lee Sang-min) and talked about various things.

A horror film that takes place when an unidentified figure is taken in the road view of "Salmokji" and the filming team headed to the reservoir for a re-shot faces something in the dark and deep water.

Lee Jong-won will take on his first commercial movie lead and first horror role as Yoon Ki-tae, an on-road media producer who joins the Salmokji belatedly and ex-boyfriend of "Su-in."

Lee Jong-won, who took his first step with "Salmokji," said, "I think my first experience is the most impressive," adding, "It's meaningful because it's my first feature and first genre, and I think it'll be memorable for a long time because it's the biggest effort I've ever put into it."

"It's even more so because the scenario was fun enough to choose even though I'm afraid of horror movies," he said. "Even after the shooting, the afterimage remains strong enough to pass through the ghosts' visuals."

At the same time, Lee Jong-won showed his passion for the medium of film. "I want to try more diverse things in the world of movies, not just dipping my feet," he said. "I thought I wanted to become an actor who crosses movies and dramas, and I have always prepared my mind. I think I started it through 'Salmokji,' he said.

He also said, "I've loved movies since I was young, and I'm still having a happy time ahead of its release," adding, "After doing the horror genre, I realized the charm of genre movies more." In the future, I want to accept all different genres. "I'm ready to run out no matter what movie or genre approaches," he said.

In particular, Lee Jong-won, who praised actor Park Jung-min, said, "I think it's the master of acting in life," adding, "I think that's the best compliment for an actor." I think natural acting that you'll see around me is the hardest, but I think he's the best at it. I want to exchange that kind of normal acting chemistry (with Park Jung-min). I'm greedy," he said.
