Girl group YOUNG POSSE is returning with a mixtape.

According to their agencies RBW, DSP Media, and Beats Entertainment on the 18th, YOUNG POSSE (Jung Sun-hye, Wi Yeon-jeong, Jianna, Do Eun, Han Ji-eun) will release and return with the July mixtape 'YOUNG TAPE'. They added, "This time, we have ambitiously prepared a 2026 version of 'Mister' that reflects YOUNG POSSE's unique color, sampling the global mega-hit 'Mister' by our direct senior group under the same agency, KARA. We ask for your many expectations."

With this, YOUNG POSSE will return after three months since their digital single 'we don't go to bed tonight' in April. Known as the 'K-pop scene's toad' for breaking stereotypes with music in every album, YOUNG POSSE is set to prove a cross-generational musical spectrum by sampling KARA's representative 2000s hit 'Mister' with their own unique color.

Moreover, YOUNG POSSE previously led widespread praise in the music industry by perfectly reinterpreting 1990s old-school hip-hop through 'XXL', which paid homage to Seo Taiji and Boys' 'Come Back Home' in 2024. Attention is now focused on how they will handle the sampling of KARA's 'Mister', which shook the 2000s.

YOUNG POSSE has built a unique team color by flexibly crossing genre boundaries based on authentic hip-hop sound. Through debut track 'MACARONI CHEESE' as well as 'XXL', 'ATE THAT', and 'FREESTYLE', they have solidified their presence as the 'K-pop scene's toad' by bringing their signature free-spirited energy and raw sensibility to the stage.
