MONSTA X (MONSTA X) member Kihyun is set to launch his full-scale solo activities.

According to agency Starship Entertainment, Kihyun will release his second mini-album 'BORDERLINE' via various music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 7th (KST), marking his return as a solo artist after approximately three years and nine months.

'BORDERLINE' is an album that most vividly captures Kihyun's current musical direction. Having showcased his unique musical world through his first solo single 'VOYAGER' and expanded his presence as a solo artist with his first mini-album 'YOUTH', Kihyun will now deliver the voice of someone who chooses their own path and walks it, with even deeper musicality in this album.

Especially, tracks that are more diverse and intricately connected, centered on Kihyun's strength of rock sound, fill the album. The musical texture, which freely moves between refreshing sensibility, explosive energy, delicate expressiveness, and direct power, is revealed even more clearly.

The album features a total of seven tracks, including the title track 'So Good', along with 'Borderline', 'Stealin' Air', 'Domino', 'Lazy Day', 'Late Night Drive', and 'Howling'. Tracks filled with distinct moods and sensibilities are expected to showcase the musical spectrum that solo artist Kihyun has steadily expanded over a long period.

Among these, the title track 'So Good' most clearly conveys the album's message. It sings of the freedom and sense of liberation at the moment one decides to trust their own senses and choices amidst voices constantly demanding the right answer. The gradually intensifying guitar sound, Kihyun's delicate vocals, and a refreshing high note that explodes all at once combine to maximize his outstanding capabilities.
