The group RESCENE (Won-i, Reeb, Minami, Mei, Jena) made their first music broadcast appearance with the remake single 'Pretty Girl' on Mnet's 'M Countdown,' which aired on the 9th, and performed a collaborative stage with Nicole of KARA. This performance featured the original group members joining in to sing the title track from KARA's second mini-album released in 2008.

On this day, RESCENE took the stage in outfits that highlighted their individual personalities, adding bright smiles and natural gestures. Towards the end of the performance, Nicole appeared and harmonized with RESCENE, also showcasing a concept centered on grapefruit scent, which is the main fragrance of their new song.

RESCENE reached number one on Melon's 'TOP100' for the first time in about two years since its release with the title track 'LOVE ATTACK' from their mini-album 1, 'SCENEDROME,' released in August 2024. The song also ranked third on Melon's daily chart, second on FLO's chart, fourth on Genie Music's 'TOP 200' real-time and fifth on its daily chart, and fourth on Bugs' daily and real-time charts.

The track 'Pretty Girl,' released at 6 p.m. on July 8 via various music platforms, also entered the upper ranks of the charts. It achieved number one on Melon's 'HOT100' and fourth on its 'TOP100,' first on Bugs' real-time chart and seventh on its daily chart, tenth on Genie Music's 'TOP 200,' and tenth on FLO's chart.

Amid the reverse-running trend initiated by 'LOVE ATTACK,' the double title tracks from their mini-album 1, 'Pinball,' the title track from their second single album, 'Deja Vu,' and the digital single 'Runaway' also entered Melon's 'TOP100.' RESCENE demonstrated its strength by simultaneously charting both new and existing songs.

'Pretty Girl' is the title track from KARA's second mini-album released in 2008. RESCENE maintained the feel of the teen pop genre, based on the original song's cute liveliness and confident charm, while adding a fresh and refreshing arrangement.
