A total of 20 artists and key executives from JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) have been selected as members of the Recording Academy®, which oversees the Grammy Awards.

According to JYP on the 14th, a total of 18 artists, including Park Jin-young (J.Y. Park), TWICE (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu), and Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N), were selected as voting members of the Recording Academy.

Voting members are individuals who work in the recording industry—such as artists, songwriters, producers, and engineers—and hold the right to participate in the nomination and selection process for Grammy Award candidates and winners.

JYP Jeong Uk (CEO) CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Shin Hyun-gook, who also serves as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and JYP America Representative, was selected as a Professional Member of the Recording Academy. Professional Members are music business professionals who directly support music creators and can participate in the Recording Academy's music industry community, various programs, networks, and Grammy submission procedures.

Founded in 1957, the Recording Academy is a leading U.S. music organization that represents the voices of music industry professionals, including artists, lyricists, producers, and engineers. Since 1959, it has overseen the Grammy Awards, one of the world's most prestigious music award ceremonies, and annually invites music experts from around the globe to join as members, thereby strengthening the diversity and professionalism of the music community.

In January this year, Park Jin-young, who is an active artist and JYP's Chief Creative Officer (CCO), along with Jung Wook and Shin Hyun-gook, were named in the Multi-Sector category of "Billboard Power 100 2026," which selects individuals from around the world who have significant influence on the global music industry across various sectors. In March, they were also recognized in the "2026 Billboard Global Power Players," which identifies leaders driving the global music market outside the United States.
