The group Red Velvet (Wendy, Irene, Seulgi, Joy, Yeri) will present a new summer Velvet song with their title track 'Surfin' Boy'.

According to SM Entertainment on the 20th, Red Velvet's summer mini-album 'Velvet Summer' will have all tracks released globally on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on August 3.

This mini-album includes a total of five songs, featuring the title track 'Surfin' Boy', capturing Red Velvet's soft and mature charm. The new song 'Surfin' Boy' is a dance track blending languid bossa nova guitar, leisurely reggae rhythms, and sensual house grooves.

Notably, Joy participated in writing the lyrics alone, adding further meaning. The lyrics celebrate the hottest summer spent with someone precious and create brilliant memories once again, amplifying the song's charm.

Additionally, the first teaser image was posted on Red Velvet's official SNS. Set against a dazzling beach backdrop, the image captures the members' natural charm and vintage mood, making their return as 'Summer Queens' feel real.
