Yang Ji-won, formerly of the group Spica, and Jo Ga-bin, formerly of Nine Muses, made headlines by announcing their weddings on the same day.

On the 24th, Yang Ji-won revealed her surprise wedding announcement by posting wedding photos on her SNS.

At the same time, she disclosed her pregnancy, stating, "We had originally planned to get married early next year, but we are so grateful that a new life has been given to us. I will become a mother next year at age 40. Therefore, we have decided to move up the wedding date."

Her fiancé is musical actor Yang Jun-mo. On the same day, Yang Jun-mo also posted on his SNS: "After much deliberation, we finalized our divorce in 2023 and decided to walk separate paths. We did not bring up this story separately until now because above all else, we wanted to protect our young daughter from being hurt or exposed to unnecessary scrutiny."

He also spoke about his fiancée Yang Ji-won: "She has been a warm source of strength beside me during the time I have been carefully rebuilding my difficult life, and she helped me find smiles again. She is someone I am grateful for and love deeply."

On the same day, Jo Ga-bin of Nine Muses also announced her wedding. Her fiancé is musical actor Hwang Min-su, and after four years of dating, they have reached the milestone of marriage. The couple plans to hold their wedding ceremony in October.

Regarding her fiancé, Jo Ga-bin said: "During our four years together, there were moments when we argued, but every time, he would immediately soothe my feelings before his pride and never hesitate to say sorry. I have come to believe that being with such a warm and loving person who always puts my emotions first will allow me to walk forward bravely through all the days ahead."

Hwang Min-su also stated: "My fiancée is someone who has always silently filled in for my shortcomings, and above all, she is someone who always stands by my side. To become a better actor, I wanted to be a better person myself, and meeting someone who told me 'You are a good person' and believed in me allowed us to support each other over a long period of time. Whenever I wavered, she was the steady presence that helped me regain my footing. I have promised to spend the rest of my life with this person who turns my ideal dreams into reality."

In response to the news of their weddings, congratulations poured in from T-ARA's Jiyeon and Eunjung, After School's Yoo So-young, SECRET's Jeon Hyo-sung, Ladies' Code's Jumi, as well as actress Lee Ju-bin.
