Singer Kim Dong-ryul has announced his first concert without an orchestra since his debut.

On the 25th, Kim Dong-ryul shared his unique reflections on his personal SNS alongside news of his solo concert titled "Old Songs."

Notably, this performance is drawing significant attention as it marks the first time in Kim Dong-ryul's concert history—spanning from his exhibition days to the present—that a stage without an orchestra will be presented. Until now, Kim Dong-ryul has built his signature performances with rich and majestic full orchestra sounds. For this event, he boldly breaks away from his typical style, aiming instead to create a stage that focuses entirely on basic band arrangements and the power of his own voice, delivering a profound emotional impact.

Through his SNS post, Kim Dong-ryul confessed, "While I still enjoy grand, orchestral-style music and performances, I wanted to try a more stripped-down concert format at least once. It feels like going into battle without a sword or shield—perhaps an even more difficult challenge—but I wanted to dare to attempt it before it's too late."

As a result, this concert will unveil many hidden gems in the form of intimate, small-scale songs that were rarely performed due to the large-scale orchestra nature of his previous shows. Additionally, the dedicated performance band "Yul Band," which has honed its unique skills through years of collaboration, will take center stage with solid and highly polished live performances.

Kim Dong-ryul expressed confidence, saying, "For those who prefer songs overlooked in albums over my hit tracks, or for fans who enjoyed the 2019 'Old Songs' concert, I believe you'll find this performance worth looking forward to."
