The Boyz (THE BOYZ) member New (real name Choi Chan-hee) is leaving his agency One Hundred Label.

On the 27th, Sports Chosun reported that New has reached a final agreement to terminate his exclusive contract with One Hundred Label on the condition of returning the contract money he received when signing the deal.

Previously, The Boyz left their former agency in December 2024 and partnered with One Hundred Label, founded by Cha Ga-won, CEO of PIAK Group, and MC Mong. However, last February, The Boyz filed for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract with One Hundred Label, and in April, Seoul Central District Court granted the request, bringing their brief collaboration to an end.

Separate from individual activities, The Boyz group activities will continue firmly with a nine-member lineup. Last month, members Sangyeon, Jacob, Young-hoon, Hyunjae, Ju-yeon, Kevin, Q, Seunwoo, and Eric agreed to continue their group activities under the new label and finalized their group activity contract.

New, who did not participate in the termination notice with his former agency or the injunction filing, was also excluded from this group contract.

With his collaboration with One Hundred Label now concluded, New is expected to pursue independent activities going forward.
