EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (hereinafter EXO-CBX) have filed a lawsuit seeking to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract with agency INB100.

On the 7th, Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 will hold a hearing on the case in which EXO-CBX requested an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of their exclusive contract against INB100.

INB100 was established by Baekhyun in June 2023 and joined Cha Ga-won's One Hundred Label subsidiary in May of the following year.

However, as various controversies surrounding Cha Ga-won continued to emerge, EXO-CBX notified the agency of contract termination in April citing reasons such as unpaid settlement funds.

Currently, Cha Ga-won is under suspicion for proposing a business using intellectual property (IP) of artists affiliated with his own agency to Knowmerce Co., Ltd., signing a contract and receiving a large advance payment without actually carrying out the business. The estimated damage amounts to approximately 30 billion won.

In response, Cha Ga-won was arrested and indicted last month and is set to face his first trial on the 13th of next month.
