The girl group BESTie's "Love Options" has entered the Japanese Oricon charts.

"Love Options" ranked 25th on Oricon Japan's weekly YouTube Shorts chart, which aggregates songs frequently used by creators on YouTube Shorts. The track secured a spot in the TOP 30 for the period from September 18 to 24, demonstrating its presence in Japan as well.

It is also ranking on overseas YouTube Music charts. "Love Options" recently recorded positions of 14th in South Korea, 31st in Taiwan, 46th in Vietnam, 75th in Singapore, and 96th in Japan on the YouTube Music Top 100 popular songs chart, receiving balanced reactions across major Asian countries.

The resurgence is continuing domestically as well. After successfully entering the Melon TOP 100, the song climbed to the top 70 on the daily chart and has maintained its upward momentum by securing a high-ranking spot on the Apple Music Korea chart.

Previously, "Love Options" topped the charts in South Korea and Vietnam on the global music search platform Shazam, before also reaching number one in Thailand. Its entry into charts on various global music platforms, including iTunes and Apple Music, proved that the resurgence heat that began domestically is spreading overseas.

It is also notable that the buzz starting from short-form content is translating into actual music streaming results. As content utilizing "Love Options" continues to be generated steadily on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, the song's rankings have continued to rise on domestic and international streaming platforms.

"Love Options," released in 2013, is a track highlighted by lyrics that candidly and wittily describe the conditions of an ideal partner, along with a lively melody. Thirteen years after its release, its intuitive chorus and addictive melody are drawing renewed attention from a new generation of listeners.

Attention is now focused on how far the 13th-year-old resurgence heat of "Love Options" will extend, as it has expanded its reach beyond domestic music charts to Oricon Japan and major Asian country charts.
