Girl group IVE (IVE, An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Lee Seo) is set to unveil special content to mark their comeback.

Their agency, Starship Entertainment, released two teaser clips for the "TALKS CAN KILL" content on IVE's official social media channels on the 15th, featuring IVE leader An Yujin as the host.

As part of the promotional activities for their new album "Looks Can Kill," set for release on the 26th, An Yujin will engage in diverse discussions about "Looks Can Kill" alongside producer and artist Hukky Shibaseki and musician Kim Ganji. They are expected to take an in-depth look at the music, visuals, and the message the group aims to convey through the new album.

The content is designed as a session that views IVE's spin-off project "Looks Can Kill" as a single work, exploring the cinematic grammar and musical worldview contained within it. In particular, by incorporating a GV (Guest Viewing) format where participants share their meanings and impressions after watching the work, it is expected to offer differentiated entertainment compared to existing content.

An Yujin plans to explain the "Girl Hero" concept featured in this album, which delivers a fatal blow simply by existing, as well as the process of building a proactive character, aiming to present IVE's newly unfolding worldview in a more three-dimensional manner.

Attention is also turning to the stories that Hukky Shibaseki and Kim Ganji will share. As two figures drawing attention for their unique musical trajectories, they are expected to broadly unfold IVE's music and narrative, which combines music, video, and direction, by viewing "Looks Can Kill" from multiple angles. It remains to be seen what new impressions will be exchanged during this process.

In the released teaser videos, the three discussed the viewing points of "Looks Can Kill." When given the keyword "lethal visuals," Kim Ganji expressed anticipation by saying, "First off, if the six members wear clothes according to their colors, it is bound to be Awesome (cool)." Meanwhile, when Hukky Shibaseki asked whether An Yujin's weaknesses could also be seen as a hero, An Yujin responded with laughter-inducing confidence, "I have no weaknesses. You won't be able to find any." This was further piqued curiosity by the comment that the hero depicted by IVE differs from the grammar of existing heroes.

The GV "TALKS CAN KILL," featuring An Yujin, Hukky Shibaseki, and Kim Ganji, will be released on IVE's official YouTube channel at 9 p.m. on the 20th. Since the audio track and music video for the new album's title song "Looks Can Kill" are set to be pre-released on the 19th, this GV is expected to allow viewers to gain a deeper understanding of the concept and narrative of "Looks Can Kill" and discover new appreciation points. Additionally, it is anticipated that the witty banter characteristic of Hukky Shibaseki and Kim Ganji will harmonize with An Yujin's confident and sensible dialogue.

Meanwhile, IVE will pre-release the title song "Looks Can Kill" on the 19th and release the eponymous mini-album "Looks Can Kill" on the 26th.
