The group NMIXX announced a positive start to their latest activities as well.

NMIXX officially released their sixth mini-album "Strange Muse" and the title track "Gin So-won (Birthday Wish)" on the 19th. As of 7 p.m. on the day of release, the new song made its debut at No. 34 on the Melon Top 100 chart, achieving the group's highest-ever ranking for a released track on that specific chart. By 12:00 a.m. on the 20th, the song had climbed to No. 5 on the Melon Top 100, proving its intense popularity.

Starting at 4:10 p.m. on the comeback day, the 19th, the group held a countdown live broadcast to commemorate the new album release through their official social media channels. NMIXX said, "We prepared diligently with the hope that this album would be like a gift, and before we knew it, autumn had arrived. This time too, NMIXX will take charge of NSWER's (fanbase name) autumn, so please look forward to it," injecting new joy for their fans. Following this, the members conducted a game testing each other's telepathy and quick thinking to retrieve a missing celebration cake.

Lily and Haewon said about their unit track "Neo-neun Dal (Sing to the Moon) (LILY, HAEWON)," "Since it is a song that allows for various interpretations, I think it would be good to listen from your own perspective and immerse yourself in the emotions," heightening anticipation. Sullyoon and Bae, the protagonists of "Hot 'n Unbothered (SULLYOON, BAE)," piqued curiosity by stating, "It is a track that well captures the synergy and atmosphere that emerges when the two of us come together." Jiwoo and Kyujin, who showcased their chemistry with "Whip (WHIP) (JIWOO, KYUJIN)," revealed their affection for the song, saying, "It was a difficult track both when we first heard it and during recording, but we pulled it off. We put in a lot of effort and participated directly in the production, making it even more meaningful."

The six members, gathered once again, received a mission to resolve NSWER's dilemma regarding birthday gifts. They recommended heartfelt gifts matching specific stories, communicating with their fans. After successfully completing the group mission as well, NMIXX amplified anticipation for the new album through tracks featuring all six members, including the title track, "Kerosene," and "RudE TaLK," along with an album unboxing segment.

Finally retrieving the cake, the members lit candles and made precious wishes, conveying their thoughts: "We prepared diligently for our comeback, filled with much love. We hope this activity will fulfill everyone's long-held wish, and since we will enjoy this activity happily as well, please give us your support." They concluded the comeback celebration party with the sentiment, "We hope it becomes an autumn where all the wishes of NMIXX and NSWER come true."

NMIXX's mini-album "Strange Muse," which will define the second-half 2026 playlist, boasts the group's expanded musical spectrum through the six members' outstanding vocals and sweet tones, as well as NMIXX's capabilities actively demonstrated in the production of the included tracks. Attention is focused on the new song "Gin So-won (Birthday Wish)," which will stand as a must-listen track that transcends seasons beyond autumn, and the well-made album "Strange Muse."
