The Korea Professional Football Federation unveiled a new winning patch design on the 28th ahead of the opening of the "Hana Bank K League 1226."
The patch is a league-specific symbol that symbolizes that all teams participating in federally organized tournaments are equally qualified and is attached to the top of the left sleeve on the player's uniform.
The existing winning patch was differentiated by applying gold to the same design as the league patch based on the official logo of the tournament, which includes "Hana Bank," the sponsor of the K League title. On the other hand, this winning patch is characterized by reflecting the team's unique elements in the design and capturing the team's identity and pride in winning.
The new winning patch intuitively expressed the symbolism of the winning team by combining graphic elements and trophies based on the appearance of the home stadium. The design change of the winning patch goes beyond the league's common symbol and aims to celebrate the history and achievements of the winning team together.
In response, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, the winner of the K League 1 in the 2025 season, will play in the 2026 season with a new winning patch that reflects the record of 10 K League 1 wins and the trophy at Jeonju World Cup Stadium.
