The Korea Racing Authority Social Contribution Foundation has prepared a "Ma-Nong Culture Experience" for elementary school students in the city.

The "Ma-Nong Culture Experience" is a program that combines horses and rural experiences, and provides elementary school students living in the city with the opportunity to experience horse culture and rural life directly to promote emotional purification and healthy character formation. The Korean Racing Authority has invested more than 2.5 billion won over the past eight years to support a total of 13,042 students.

The project will be operated in a total of three courses. It consists of "horse culture experience" to learn the history, culture, and horseback riding of horses, "farm and fishing village culture experience" to experience local culture, and "horse industry and career experience" to explore horse industry-related career paths such as veterinary, funeral, and horseback riding.

An official from the Korean Horse Association who spoke to this newspaper by phone said, "The experience of horse-riding culture will be a valuable time for urban children to feel nature, life, and our rural culture with their whole body."
