Kiwoom's Choi Ju-hwan was hit by a pitch from Hanwha's left-handed starting pitcher Wang Yencheng in the top of the first inning of the 2026 KBO League Kiwoom Heroes vs. Hanwha Eagles game held at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 14th. Wang Yencheng approached Choi Ju-hwan, who had fallen to the ground after acknowledging his own mistake, and expressed his apology. Choi Ju-hwan readily accepted Wang Yencheng's apology. While hit-by-pitches are dangerous, this moment was heartwarming. 2026.06.14.
