Kang Daniel (30), a singer from the project group Wanna One, has become a "soldier."

Kang Daniel quietly joined the army on the 9th. He will serve for 18 months after completing basic military training. The agency, Eira, said, "We will not hold a separate event on the day of Kang Daniel's admission. As it is a place where many military soldiers and their families are together, please refrain from visiting the site for safety."

Kang Daniel made his splendid debut in 2017 by winning first place in season 2 of Mnet's idol audition program "Produce 101." After enjoying popularity as a center member of the project group Wanna One, he continued his career as a solo artist since 2019.

Wanna One is set to reunite with a new reality show on Mnet about seven years after disbanding in early 2019. As Kang Daniel joined the army, he delivered a plan to participate only in some of the recording in the beginning, so much attention is being paid to whether the full reunion will have been made.
