Actor Park Yun-ho won the "New Award" at his first award ceremony since his debut, standing tall as the most anticipated star in 2026. Park Yun-ho, who booked a spot for the next male lead by proving his endless potential, began a remarkable leap forward.

Park Yun-ho, who debuted with the U+Mobile TV original "It's Night" in 2023, has been active in various genres such as TVing "Study Group" last year, drama "Someday, the Life of a Major," "Unknown Seoul," "Trigger," and "Pro Bono." This year, he also heralded another transformation as Joo Hee-dong of the original TVing "Deputy College Scholastic Ability Test."

After a ceaseless "hard work" move, the award of the Rookie of the Year award also came to fruition. Park Yun-ho attended the "10th Anniversary Asian Artist Awards 2025" hosted by Star News at Kaohsiung National Stadium on December 6 last year and won the "AAA Rookie Award" for outstanding newcomers.

Park Yun-ho, who met with Star News again at a time when the Prime Minister's tremor was still lingering, seemed even stronger. Having experienced the big stage of the first award ceremony in his life, he confessed his honest thoughts more than anyone else about the path he should take as an actor. He met with Park Yun-ho, who returned with deeper eyes, and shared the behind-the-scenes story of the award and his determination as an actor.

Park Yun-ho, who recalled the moment of winning the award, still looked dazed. "I don't think the Rookie of the Year award is only given once in a lifetime, but I didn't know I would receive it this quickly," Park Yun-ho said. "In fact, rather than wanting to receive it this quickly, I thought, 'One day I will receive it if I work hard,' but I think that moment came too soon. I think that's why I was very surprised," he said.

The title of Rookie of the Year came to him with more than joy. Park Yun-ho said, "At some point, my profile on the portal site showed the history of winning the 'AAA Rookie Award'. Whenever I see it, I keep making up my determination to 'do well' and 'work hard', he said. "The fact that I won the award at 'AAA' means that many people will recognize and watch it, so I want to be a person who can be recognized more confidently."

Park Yun-ho said he is currently keeping the trophy dearly. He said, "It's at the top of my desk. There were a lot of my stuff down there, so I wanted to keep it in a cleaner and better place. "I'm storing it well in a case so that dust doesn't accumulate," he explained.
