As top star couple IU (33) and Lee Jong-suk (37) have ended their four-year relationship, remarks made by actress Yoo In-na are being re-examined.

In April, IU appeared on the YouTube channel 'Yoo In-na Radio,' hosted by Yoo In-na, to discuss her dating style.

On that day, a balance game was conducted, and IU chose the latter option: a partner who moves according to an alarm clock, as opposed to one who goes with the flow without overthinking.

IU said, "I think I'd get too drained on a date with someone who doesn't think much. But I can adjust well," prompting Yoo In-na to retort, "Don't be ridiculous," which drew laughter.

She continued, "IU, if your partner suggests something, you just go along with it. That's at a dangerous level. If you're drained, you should say so instead of handling all your schedules, getting sick, and going to the hospital. How frustrating must that be? You might as well choose the partner who doesn't think much." IU had previously expressed agreement with this advice.

Meanwhile, both sides of IU and Lee Jong-suk told StarNews on the 10th, "It is true that they recently broke up," and added, "The two have decided to remain good colleagues," in an official statement. The couple ended their relationship four years after acknowledging a pink scandal on December 31, 2022.
