Comedian Mija (real name Jang Yun-hee) shared startling news that her mother, actress Jeon Seong-ae, was rushed to the emergency room last night.

On the afternoon of the 20th, Mija posted on her Instagram: "Everyone please be careful in the bathroom. Yesterday early morning, 119 came to our house and it was chaos," revealing her distressing update.

The photos released alongside the post showed Jeon Seong-ae being loaded into an ambulance and waiting for examination in the emergency room, capturing the urgency of the moment. Mija added, "These are photos I took to show my family," and explained, "Waiting for CT results, Mom. We are so grateful to the ER doctors and the 119th rescue team."

Mija also said, "I can finally talk about this with a smile, but Mom slipped backward while washing her hair and hit her head hard on the sink.. She collapsed on the bathroom floor and couldn't get up. Fortunately, the CT results showed her brain is fine, but there's a lump the size of a fist. It was a night filled with much crying and fear. Only the things I did wrong to my mom flashed before my eyes like a strobe light. The 119 team and ER doctors were truly so grateful. Mrs. Jeon, please stay healthy. Everyone, be careful in the bathroom, watch out for slipping, and protect your hip joints," as she calmed her shaken heart.

Mija is the daughter of actors Jang Kwang and Jeon Seong-ae. Her husband is comedian Kim Tae-hyun, and the couple married in 2022.
