Actor Yang Se-jong captivated viewers by embodying the epitome of a stable boyfriend in "Thrilling Love."

In tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama "Thrilling Love" (directed by Lee Min-soo, written by Choi Jung-mi), Yang Se-jong plays Ma Kang-wook, who silently stands by Cheon Ye-ri (played by Cheon Yu-ri), portraying a solid and stable romance.

In the drama, Ma Kang-wook remained steadfastly by Cheon Ye-ri's side through every complex situation, from her ability to see ghosts to corporate succession struggles and a fake engagement. Even after resolving his own spiritual issues, he took direct action to help Cheon Ye-ri overcome difficulties, demonstrating sincerity through deeds rather than words.

When Cheon Ye-ri asked if the fake engagement felt burdensome, he replied without hiding his feelings, "I'm even better." Rather than pressuring or pushing her away, Ma Kang-wook built trust through actions and showed unwavering confidence in his heart, adding excitement to their romance.

In this process, Yang Se-jong's restrained acting also shone. Instead of exaggerating emotions, he expressed Ma Kang-wook's sincerity through a gentle tone, subtle facial expressions, and steady chemistry that calmly absorbed Cheon Ye-ri's feelings.

Especially from the moment his feelings for Cheon Ye-ri deepened to the point of declaring certainty, he layered emotions with simple yet restrained acting, enhancing the persuasiveness of Ma Kang-wook's unique approach to love without wavering.

As such, Yang Se-jong delicately portrays Ma Kang-wook, who shows sincerity through actions rather than words while respecting his partner's feelings, showcasing the charm of a "stable boyfriend."

"Thrilling Love" airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m.
