Artist and writer Ki-an84, along with comedian Jang Do-yeon, shared their mothers' reactions to participating in "Ki-an Dating."

On the afternoon of the 18th, a production presentation for SBS's new variety show "My AI Partner - Ki-an Dating" (hereinafter "Ki-an Dating") was held at Mokdong SBS Hall in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. PD Son Jeong-min, PD Won Seung-jae, and cast members Ki-an84 and Jang Do-yeon attended.

"Ki-an Dating" is a new format survival program combining AI (artificial intelligence) with love reality. Ki-an84, Jang Do-yeon, and actor Lee Yu-bi dive directly into a love world realized by AI, encountering meetings that are difficult to experience in reality and unpredictable changes in relationships. Jang Do-yeon also serves as the studio MC, co-hosting with Gangnam and Lee Jun.

On this day, Jang Do-yeon said, "When I join a new program, I always make sure to tell my parents beforehand. For 'Ki-an Dating,' the first thing I told them was that I'm doing a 'love program.' My mom happily asked, 'With whom? A celebrity? Or a non-celebrity?' When I explained it's with a machine, she immediately turned around and started washing dishes. It might still be unfamiliar to her, but I'm sure she'll like 'Ki-an Dating' once she watches it," eliciting laughter.

In response, Ki-an84 added, "My mother asked, 'You're not actually meeting anyone, right?' I had no answer for that either. It's embarrassing to talk about outside. People around me keep asking, 'Are you still meeting? What happens next?' so I end up avoiding the topic," drawing more laughter.

"Ki-an Dating" consists of six episodes in total and will premiere on the 20th at 9 p.m.
