Lee Su-hyun of the group AKMU (AKMU) spoke about her health status before starting a diet.

On the 19th, a video titled "AKMU's Lee Su-hyun, Invited to Sit Alone" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Chimchakman'.

In the released video, Lee Su-hyun is shown having various conversations with Chimchakman.

Chimchakman asked, "You said you were dieting for your health, but didn't you find out during a health checkup before the diet that you had adult diseases?"

In response, Lee Su-hyun honestly replied, "That's accurate. I didn't expect you to ask about such things, and I never intended to talk about them anywhere else."

She continued, "I kept ignoring my condition until I gained too much weight, thinking, 'There must be something wrong with me. I can't possibly be healthy,' so I actually avoided going to the hospital."

Lee Su-hyun explained, "Since it was like Pandora's box, I didn't weigh myself or go to the hospital and kept avoiding it until the moment came when I had to face it. When I finally went to the hospital for a blood test, I was told I was in the 'pre-diabetes stage.' I thought, 'I'm young, but my health is sending red signals,' so from then on, I worked hard to lose weight, exercised diligently, and improved my health. When I got tested again this year, everything came back completely normal."

Meanwhile, Lee Su-hyun became a topic of discussion after news spread that she had lost 30 kg over approximately one year.
