Singer Gangnam posted a video promoting Japanese actor Fukushi Sota but faced public criticism and subsequently removed all traces of Fukushi Sota.

On the 21st, it was confirmed that a video titled "From Hell~ Who Came Back?~ Neighborhood Friend Gang-nami Shin-gil-dong Spicy Jjamppong Challenge Attempt," uploaded on the 20th, had disappeared from the YouTube channel "Neighborhood Friend Gang-nami."

Posts featuring selfies of Gangnam and Fukushi Sota that were originally published on the channel's bulletin board were also switched to private. Photos of the two individuals posted on Gangnam's personal Instagram account have similarly vanished.

On the 20th, a video titled "From Hell~ Who Came Back?~ Neighborhood Friend Gang-nami Shin-gil-dong Spicy Jjamppong Challenge Attempt" was uploaded to the channel. On that day, Japanese actor Fukushi Sota appeared as a guest.

Despite being known as a right-wing actor, Gangnam repeatedly praised Fukushi Sota, saying, "He speaks Korean very well." Additionally, Gangnam posted on his Instagram: "Fukushi Sota studies hard, so I think he might speak Korean better than me! He's truly smart and kind, Sota! Please support him a lot!"

In 2015, Fukushi Sota appeared in the Fuji TV documentary "Teach Us About War," where he shed tears while stating that his grandfather had been a candidate for a Japanese Kamikaze special attack unit. This led the Korean public to regard him as a "Japanese right-wing actor."

Recently, actress Ha Young faced intense public criticism over controversies surrounding her grandfather's pro-Japanese activities. Gangnam's praise of a person who supported imperialism just days after Liberation Day drew strong condemnation from domestic public opinion.

Netizens responded with comments such as "If you want to make money in Korea, act smartly," "Why did you become a naturalized citizen?" and "Please be careful now that you're married to Yeo-je."
