Super Junior member Kim Hee-chul donated 100 million won to support flood victims affected by heavy rains.

On the 24th, Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Im Chae-cheong) announced that Kim Hee-chul deposited 100 million won to support flood-affected residents in southern regions including Geoje and Tongyeong.

That morning, upon learning of the severe flooding in southern areas such as Geoje and Tongyeong, Kim Hee-chul directly called the association to confirm the donation account and immediately transferred 100 million won to deliver urgent aid to the affected area.

Kim Hee-chul stated, "After seeing news that southern regions were designated as special disaster zones by the government, I realized the damage was far more serious than expected." He added, "I believe true donation means acting without hesitation the moment one decides to help, so that it reaches those in need completely."

He continued, "Many people may still be unaware of the detailed extent of the damage. I hope more individuals will pay attention and come together with compassion." He also expressed, "I hope this contribution offers even slight support to those working hard to recover under the intense heat and to the affected neighbors. I encourage everyone to stay strong until the end and return quickly to their peaceful daily lives."

The donated funds are intended for use in restoring the disaster-affected areas and helping displaced residents regain their normal lives.
