On 'Salon Drip', actor Song Kang revealed how he became close with BTS's V during his military service.

On the 25th, a new episode of the web variety show 'Salon Drip' titled "Why Don't You Trust Me Like This | EP.154 Song Kang" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Theo'.

In the video, MC Jang Do-yeon mentioned an impromptu photo taken by Song Kang and V, asking how the two became close.

Song Kang explained, "We became friends in the military. We were in the same unit but had different roles. V was part of the SDT special task force, while I was a regular soldier. We got in touch through an acquaintance and arranged to meet on weekdays during our leave."

The two also visited internet cafes with their respective unit members. Song Kang said, "I often went to internet cafes with V. Five members from his team and five from mine gathered to play 5-on-5 games."

When Jang Do-yeon asked whether Song Kang had to use formal language toward V in the military, he replied, "It depends on the unit. Units have their own pride, so we address each other as 'Mr./Ms. [Name]'."

Jang then asked, "When you meet V, who pays for meals?" Song Kang answered, "He usually treats me. I've treated him a few times too," adding, "I paid when we lost games or bowling matches," drawing attention.
