Comedian Jeong Cheol-gyu took the initiative to expose past abuse and harassment by a senior colleague.

On the 25th, Jeong appeared in the first episode of 'Miki's Guesthouse,' titled 'Special Recruitment Comedian Blanka!! Stories Not Told on Broadcast!! And Jeju Island Healing Trip!!' on the YouTube channel 'Miki Kwang-su.'

In that day's video, Jeong revealed, "I witnessed senior A assaulting female comedian B in 2005." He added, "B, who belonged to an agency that recruited many comedians with the goal of nurturing them as a comedy troupe, expressed her intention to leave the company. In response, A gathered B and other aspiring comedians in the office and committed violence against them."

Jeong said, "I was so shocked. Seeing a woman's head jerk violently when she is slapped directly in the face gives me goosebumps." He continued, "When she covered her face with her hands, he slapped her cheek on the side; when she bent over, he kicked her stomach."

He further stated, "I tried to intervene, but he threatened me, saying, 'You'll get hit too.' What shocked me even more was that everyone present at the scene did not try to stop him."

Meanwhile, regarding the violence and harassment by the senior comedian Jeong had previously mentioned directly, he clarified, "That senior is not Ryu Dam, Kim Jin-cheol, or No Woo-jin."
