Actress Kim Hye-yoon stated that there is no confirmed decision regarding her participation in "Lee Seop's Romance."

On the 1st, Kim Hye-yoon's agency, Artist Company, told StarNews, "'Lee Seop's Romance' is one of the projects for which we have received an offer and are currently considering."

"Lee Seop's Romance" depicts an office romance between Tae Yi-seop, a third-generation chaebol heir of TK Group who is perfect in everything but clumsy in romance, and his colleague Kang Min-kyung, who possesses superior work capabilities. The project is based on the web novel of the same name by author Kim Eon-hee.

Previously, actor Lee Jong-suk had been preparing to take on the role of male lead Tae Yi-seop, but ultimately decided not to join.

At the time, production company Ace Factory stated, "Actor Lee Jong-suk has been considering the project for a long period since the planning and development stage and was preparing to appear in 'Lee Seop's Romance,' but as the production and filming schedule was adjusted from the original plan, it became difficult to coordinate with his upcoming schedule."

It further explained, "After sufficient discussion with the production team, we ultimately agreed not to participate in this project." Choi Yoon-ji, who had also been considered for the role of the female lead, likewise decided not to join.

Accordingly, the production team for "Lee Seop's Romance" is reorganizing casting from scratch. Recently, Hwang Min-hyun was mentioned as a new candidate for the male lead, but the production company stated that there is no confirmation.

With Kim Hye-yoon newly added to the list of candidates for the female lead, attention is turning to what combination will complete the final casting for "Lee Seop's Romance."
