Internet broadcaster (BJ) Gwajip Se-yeon (real name In Se-yeon), who was charged on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act, started a new Excel broadcast and received support worth over 100 million won.

Gwajip Se-yeon first unveiled her new Excel broadcast, "Rookie Academy," through a YouTube live stream on the 1st.

On that day, Gwajip Se-yeon introduced herself by saying, "I am Gwajip Se-yeon, who is serving as MC. I also hold the position of representative."

She then expressed confidence, stating, "The session was postponed once, so we are proceeding today. Since we have prepared a lot due to the delay, you will be able to enjoy it properly."

It was reported that approximately 20,000 people were connected simultaneously to the broadcast on that day, and support funds reached 120 million won within one day.

Excel broadcasts are internet broadcast content in which multiple participants showcase various reactions while receiving real-time support from viewers. Participants experience changes in ranking or job title based on their individual support performance and receive differentiated compensation.

Currently, Gwajip Se-yeon was charged without detention in mid-July alongside her boyfriend, internet broadcaster Kay (real name Park Jung-gyu), on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances).

Gwajip Se-yeon is suspected of taking a sleeping pill classified as a psychotropic substance in June. Initially, only news of an investigation into Kay was reported, but it was later confirmed that Gwajip Se-yeon had also been placed under police investigation.

Gwajip Se-yeon's legal representative stated, "This incident originated from the fact that Gwajip Se-yeon took a sleeping pill (containing zolpidem) possessed by her partner during a situation where conflicts with him had intensified, and was subsequently transported to an emergency room for treatment." The representative added, "There is no fact that Gwajip Se-yeon received a proxy prescription for the sleeping pill or was involved in it, and we clearly state that there is absolutely no fact of her illegally possessing or using narcotics or marijuana."

The representative also conveyed, "Gwajip Se-yeon appeared before law enforcement authorities on August 4, voluntarily provided her medical prescription and medication records, and received the investigation diligently. On that day, she voluntarily submitted her own hair for testing purposes in a state where no alterations such as cutting or bleaching had been made at all."
