SHINee member Onyu (ONEW) and artist Zico will unveil a top-tier collaboration.

Onyu will release “Tic Tac Toe,” the second title track from his single album “Misunderstanding,” on various music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 7th.

According to Onyu’s agency, Griffin Entertainment, “Tic Tac Toe” is a song that cleverly depicts the subtle relationship and emotions between a man and a woman by comparing them to a game. It is an R&B hip-hop track centered on the two artists’ differing interpretations of the “some” (ambiguous romantic interest) relationship. The track features a bouncy rhythm based on 808 sounds, layered with crisp and lively trap textures.

The agency explained that Onyu’s elegant vocals and Zico’s trendy rap blend sensibly, infusing wit throughout the entire song. Onyu and Zico directly participated in the lyrics and composition.

Prior to the official music release, a visualizer for “Tic Tac Toe” was released on Onyu’s official YouTube channel on the 7th. The concept film documents the process of completing the track, capturing moments where Onyu and Zico ride the rhythm together and exchange ideas.

“Misunderstanding” is a single album that Onyu will release approximately seven months after his fifth mini-album “TOUGH LOVE,” which was released in March last year. It will be available on various music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 20th. Onyu is building momentum for his comeback by consecutively releasing “Mind Games” with singer Yooju (YUJU) and “Tic Tac Toe” with Zico.
