Actor Lee Jae-uk, who is currently serving in the military, took leave to attend as an audience member at the Busan International Film Festival.

On the afternoon of the 8th, the open talk event for the 31st Busan International Film Festival was held at the Cinema Hall in Haeundae-gu, Busan, where the team from Netflix's "Honey Job" gathered to meet film fans in Busan. Director Kim Da-min and actors Kim Min-ha and Choi Hyun-wook attended the open talk that day.

The Netflix series "Honey Job" is a survival horror series about a young man named Hyeok-jun who is thrown into a nightmare-like labor environment, set against the backdrop of a strange staffing agency that only offers "honey jobs" starting at 50 times the minimum wage.

As the actors continued to share their thoughts on the work that day, attention was drawn by lead actor Lee Jae-uk, who attended as an audience member on leave from his military service.

Actor Choi Hyun-wook said, "We came to Busan yesterday, and I heard that actor Lee Jae-uk also came to Busan. Where are you?" calling out to Lee Jae-uk, who was seated in the audience.

Lee Jae-uk, who had been sitting in the audience wearing a hat and mask, came up on stage to greet everyone. Lee Jae-uk said, "I am actor Lee Jae-uk. I am fulfilling my duty to the nation, so I feel great regret for not being able to be with you all. Since people say the work is fun, I hope you enjoy it. It is a story that resembles our lives, so you will relate to it. I don't really know what to say," looking shy.

Following this, Lee Jae-uk said, "I cannot attend official events, so I will just say hello and leave," briefly greeting the audience before going back down.

Cheering erupted from the audience upon Lee Jae-uk's appearance that day.

Meanwhile, this year's Busan International Film Festival is being held in various parts of Busan until the 15th.
