Businessman-turned-actor Choi Si-hoon was scolded by his wife, singer Ailee.

On the 8th, Choi Si-hoon posted a photo taken at Incheon International Airport on his personal social media account, accompanied by the caption, "I left my passport behind. Got scolded by my wife."

Choi Si-hoon and Ailee are a couple with an age gap of three years, with the man being older. After completing their marriage registration in August 2024, they held their wedding ceremony in April of last year.

Choi Si-hoon first gained widespread recognition after appearing on Season 1 of Netflix's dating reality show "Single's Inferno" in 2021. At the time, he was introduced as a clothing business owner with an acting background, and in 2024, he also operated dining bars in Jongno and Apgujeong.

However, when news of his marriage to Ailee was revealed, Choi Si-hoon became embroiled in controversy over being accused of having no job. In reality, Choi Si-hoon has never been unemployed, but he faced difficulties as various suspicions were suddenly raised.

Regarding this matter, Ailee addressed the "unemployed" controversy surrounding Choi Si-hoon, stating, "He was never unemployed, but people thought he was. He originally worked as an influencer and also ran a company that managed influencers." She continued, "When people heard he was an influencer, they assumed he was unemployed and said, 'He must have married me to get at my money.' I was hurt by that, but now, no matter what you think, it's not true."

Currently, the couple has begun in vitro fertilization treatment as they try to conceive their second child.
