Actor An Hyo-seop has been selected as a nominee for the Voice Acting Award at the U.S. "2026 Kids' Choice Awards." He will compete for the trophy alongside Hollywood stars such as Tom Hanks.

According to the official nominee list for the "2026 Kids' Choice Awards" announced on the 8th (local time), An Hyo-seop was nominated in the "Favorite Male Animated Voice from a Movie" category for his role as Jinu in the Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters."

Notably, attention is drawn to the fact that he has been nominated alongside stars representing Hollywood, including Michael B. Jordan, Tom Hanks, Jack Black, and Chris Pratt. An Hyo-seop not only proved his competitiveness at the center of global pop culture but also demonstrated that the influence of K-content has taken another step forward.

In addition, "KPop Demon Hunters" was also nominated in the "Favorite Animated Movie" category.

The "Kids' Choice Awards" is a pop culture awards ceremony held since 1988 by Nickelodeon, a leading U.S. children's and youth entertainment brand. It selects stars and works loved across various fields such as film, television, music, and sports. This year, the event will be broadcast on U.S. CBS and Nickelodeon, and is scheduled to be released on the global streaming platform Paramount+.

In "KPop Demon Hunters," An Hyo-seop took on the role of Jinu, the leader of the group Saja Boys, delivering an English voice performance. With his uniquely attractive voice and delicate emotional expression, he depicted the character's complex inner world, leaving a strong impression on viewers worldwide. The fact that he gained popular response in this new challenge of English acting and animation makes An Hyo-seop's nomination particularly noteworthy.

This achievement is an extension of the broad global activities An Hyo-seop has shown this year.

The SBS drama "Sold Out Today," which aired in April this year, reached No. 1 in the Netflix Global Non-English TV category and entered the Global Top 10 for seven consecutive weeks, once again cementing An Hyo-seop's presence amid high interest from overseas viewers.

Following this, in May, he released the single "Something Special" with world-renowned pop artist Khalid, expanding his scope as an artist. The track proved influence beyond that of an actor by entering the U.S. Spotify Daily Chart Top 40 and maintaining a spot on the MediaBase Top 40 U.S. radio chart for 12 consecutive weeks.

He has also received continuous attention from the fashion industry. Following his attendance at the Met Gala, he began activities as an ambassador for Saint Laurent in June last month, and recently was appointed as a global ambassador for JUUN.J, drawing attention from the domestic and international fashion scenes. Through various global events and photo shoots, he has also revealed his aspect as a fashion icon.

In this way, An Hyo-seop, who continues diverse activities in various fields beyond his main profession of acting, is maximizing the value of the individual actor while simultaneously becoming a new milestone for K-artists, riding on the status of K-content on the world stage.

Meanwhile, An Hyo-seop will appear to viewers as "Kang Han," an overseas chef, in JTBC's new weekend drama "Final Table," which premieres at 10:40 p.m. on the 24th.
