In "Not You, But Another Romance," a muddy confrontation between Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin in the tidal flats is teased.

In Episode 7 of KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series "Not You, But Another Romance" (directed by Hwang Seung-gi and Lee Ga-ram, written by Yoo Su-ji), which aired on the 10th, Nam Gong-ho (played by Seo Kang-joon) revealed a shocking proposal that shook up their 10-year relationship. He was deeply wounded to the point of despair upon learning through another man, Han Tae-seung (played by Lee Ju-an), that Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin) had continued making films that had become boring and even frightening because of him. However, he could not bear to watch her, who had once shone brighter than anyone else, wither away. His unexpected suggestion, "Go meet that man," which was meant to turn back on the switch of her dimly extinguished life, delivered a heavy shock to viewers at home last night.

However, Nam Gong-ho's "Go meet that man" is followed by Lee Mi-do's "You go meet that woman too," heightening curiosity.

In the teaser for Episode 8 released after the broadcast, it was revealed that Lee Mi-do had noticed the feelings of Nam Gong-ho's "other self," Park Su-ah (played by Jo A-lam). The problem is that Nam Gong-ho also knows about Park Su-ah's feelings. Lee Mi-do strikes at the core, saying, "You know Park Su-ah likes you," and returns Nam Gong-ho's shocking proposal with, "Then do it. You go meet that girl too."

In between, there is a muddy confrontation between Nam Gong-ho and Lee Mi-do in the tidal flats. The situation arises when Nam Gong-ho, who was collecting samples from the tidal flats for work at his company, collides with Lee Mi-do, who had come to the same place. As shown in the video, what Nam Gong-ho actually wanted from Lee Mi-do was not a confession that he had felt butterflies for the man who turned on her switch, but rather, "If you had stubbornly denied it until the end, if you had pretended not to know until the end." Lee Mi-do counters with the undeniable presence of Park Su-ah.

Ahn Eun-jin explained about this scene, saying, "It is a scene where the two people truly dig up the bottom of their honest hearts and make a choice afterward. Every single line was relatable and painful to watch." She continued by sharing behind-the-scenes details: "It was really a long scene, so we spent all day rolling around in the tidal flats while filming. Perhaps because we filmed a scene I really love under such difficult conditions, it leaves a deeper impression on me." The emotions that they must explode despite knowing well how painfully they hurt each other are expected to be completed through the intense acting chemistry of Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin.

Park Su-ah's feelings are another point of interest. In the previous episode, Nam Gong-ho noticed a trap set by the parties involved in corruption while Park Su-ah was pursuing suspicions of ingredient substitution. Consequently, he took the blame for suspected receipt of money as consideration and received a suspension penalty. He encouraged the distressed Park Su-ah, telling her that she could only return to the team if she continued investigating until the end. It is intriguing to see what narrative "Not You, But Another Romance" will follow if Park Su-ah, who almost confessed her love to Nam Gong-ho when he was drunk, learns of the changes in their solid 10-year relationship.

Episode 8 of "Not You, But Another Romance" airs at 9:20 p.m. on the 11th. It will be released simultaneously with the domestic broadcast to viewers in over 240 countries worldwide through the global streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
