Webtoon artist and broadcaster Ki-an 84 voiced concerns about traffic disruptions caused by the consecutive holding of running events.

On the 19th, a video titled “I filmed and edited this episode myself” was released on Ki-an 84’s YouTube channel, 'Life 84'.

That day, Ki-an 84 left his house to meet actor Kwon Hwa-un for exercise and a date.

Ki-an 84 stated, “These days, I go out wearing running shoes on almost any ordinary day.” He added, “I run three or four times a week, but since I don’t know when I’ll run, I’ve started carrying my running shoes with me. Once I put them on, they’re so comfortable that it seems like I’m wearing only running shoes all week long these days.”

After arriving at Kwon Hwa-un’s house, Ki-an 84 brought up the topic of running events being held consecutively in Seoul recently.

He said, “They hold too many in Seoul, so the roads are terribly congested on weekends.” He pointed out, “Actually, people might think negatively about it because of that. They block off all the roads.”

In response, Kwon Hwa-un also expressed empathy, saying, “Aren’t three events being held simultaneously right now?”

He continued, “If they only hold major (events) and focus on just one, wouldn’t they make money? They don’t hold a soccer World Cup every week either,” sharing his thoughts on the frequency of running event holdings.

Ki-an 84 also agreed, saying, “That’s right,” drawing attention.
