Singer Choi Ye-na (YENA) will reinterpret a representative Japanese hit song with her own unique charm.

According to her agency YH Entertainment, Choi Ye-na will release the 'Sakuranbo' remake track at 6 p.m. on November 17.

The recently released teaser image revealed Choi Ye-na's cuteness through cherries filling a glass. A teaser featuring imagery reminiscent of nostalgic Japanese anime and the text 'SAKURANBO (Sakuranbo)' also drew attention. The Daejeon-style visual, evoking a magical girl, created a unique atmosphere.

'Sakuranbo' is a song released in 2003 by Japanese singer Otsuka Ai (Ootsuka Ai), characterized by its upbeat and addictive melody.

YH Entertainment stated, "Choi Ye-na will reinterpret 'Sakuranbo' with Korean sensibility for the first time in 23 years, while maintaining the charm of the original song and adding her own emotional touch."

Meanwhile, Choi Ye-na recently released a new digital single, 'Rare Woman (Feat. NOWIMYOUNG),' and is actively engaging in various activities. She is loved not only for her music but also for her work as a model for campaigns by liquor, game, wireless earphone, and skincare brands, as well as serving as the muse for a color contact lens brand.
