SNSD, composed of nine girls, flew to the United States on January 30 to promote themselves by appearing on talk shows and giving interviews.

Their agency, SM Entertainment, said that SNSD will appear on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman for the first time as a Korean singing group. They will also appear on ABC’s popular talk show Live! with Kelly and perform their song “The Boys.” Each of the two shows will air on January 31 at 11:35 p.m. and on February at 9:00 a.m. (local time).

A producer for The Late Show with David Letterman says, “We decided to cast SNSD for our show because we think that they are a very interesting and unique group. We are happy that they chose our show to help them debut in the United States.”

SNSD will give interviews to AP, one of the United States’ premier broadcast and media outlets, and a popular entertainment news program called Extra TV.

SNSD’s special American album The Boys, which was released on January 17, ranked second on the Billboard Latest Chart (February 4) and twenty second on Heatseekers Albums Chart.

SNSD will return to Korea later this week.
