On February 29, Big Bang released its fifth mini album ALIVE via major music-download sites such as Melon and Naver Music.

At 7:30 a.m. on the same day, Big Bang is setting a record in Koreas music history, making all six title songs sweep through such music ranking charts. Even the 47-second intro song, ALIVE, is vaulted to upper ranks.

At the Melon chart, Big Bang put its name on seven ranks of its top ten chart. On the same day, the music video of Bad Boy, was released via YouTube, jumping to the top position in a moment beating Miss A, Eily, K Will and Seven. Blue and Love Dust were right followed into the second and third positions respectively. The list goes on: Fantastic Baby for fourth, Its No Fun for fifth, Wings for seventh and the intro song ALIVE for tenth.

At M.net, Love Dust ranked top, followed by Bad Boy and Fantastic Baby for the second and third ranks respectively. On the same chart, Its no Fun held the fourth position, Wings fifth, Blue sixth and Alive (intro) seventh.

At Olleh Music, its top ten chart was tightly filled with Big Bangs songs. With Love Dust in the lead, Bad Boy, Its no Fun, Fantastic Baby, Wings, Blue, and ALIVE (intro) placed the list in order.

This fifth mini album consists of five title songs. We can feel Big Bangs strong confidence about every song. Each of them are songs in various genres with different colors.

Big Bang is planning to hold a concert under the title, 2012 BIG SHOW/BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR, for three days from March 2 to 4 at the Olympic Hall in the Olympic Park.
